Stop Living With Indecision

Whew! It's been a minute since I've shared a bit about life. In June, I found myself contemplating a business decision that would impact those around me. I decided I needed to take a deep breath and plunge into it all the way so I could do what was best for me and my family. Although the choice was not an easy one and I struggled through it relentlessly, it was a necessary one.

When you find yourself in this space, how to you handle it?

Feelings of stress, overwhelm, and uncertainty were certainly challenges for me. What I found to be helpful to me was to focus on a few key areas:

1) Accept the way you feel, acknowledge it, then LET.IT.GO.

2) Focus on your top priorities based on you and your family's need.

3) Recognize the importance of focusing on yourself and your mindset during this phase.

4) Creating consistency through routines and daily habits.

Guilt is one of those things that we are so easily deterred by. And to be honest, yes, I let my guilt for how OTHERS would see me or think of me control my decision for a long time. I didn't want to let anyone down or disappoint them. However, I was disappointing myself. How did that make any sense?

Here we are almost 4 months later and we are stronger than ever because of this decision. The thrill of something new and exciting is running deep within my soul and I am leaping into new territories I would have never imagined if I hadn't taken a leap of faith. Has that ever happened to you? Sometimes opportunities present themselves in ways we never imagined and the outcome is just beyond anything we could have ever envisioned.

So my friends, I am here to remind you that although there are points in our life that we are faced with the reality of making a tough choice, we are capable of making it through this point in time and finding the light on the other side. No matter how difficult and challenging it might feel right now, know that you are not alone and that you are completely capable of defining which direction your journey should take. Stop staying in the comfort zone of indecision, move forward, and choose the best path for YOU.

Where is your journey taking you?

P.S. You know what, it feels so good to be right here with you again. Aaaahhhh.....how I missed this place. That shift in perspective is going to make this even better than it ever could have been. Keep on watching or come be a part of this revolution with me. #thefutureisfemale
